Washington State Commercial Association of REALTORS® (WSCAR) is a professional trade association dedicated to serving the interests of commercial and investment real estate professionals throughout the state and to enhance the profitability and professionalism of its members by offering pertinent real estate information, education, legislative advocacy, networking opportunities, a code of ethics and discounts on useful business tools and services.

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY MEMBERSHIP
If you are a current member of NAR or Washington REALTORS, you may apply for Primary or *Secondary | Realtor® or Designated Realtor® Membership.

To join as a Primary Member, the Designated Realtor® of your office must be a WSCAR member.
You may join as a Secondary Member if you are already a primary member of a local REALTOR organization in the state of Washington
You may also join WSCAR as an Institute Affiliate if you are a current member of SIOR, CCIM, or IREM. Contact your national chapter or visit the NAR site to join.

CODE OF ETHICS
The National Association of REALTORS® adopted the Code of Ethics in 1913, following the professions of medicine, law, and engineering. REALTORS® are real estate professionals who have chosen to join the National Association and abide by its strict Code of Ethics. What does this mean? It means that any REALTOR® has voluntarily agreed to abide by a Code of Ethics, based on professionalism and protection of the public. REALTORS® are subject to disciplinary action and sanctions if they violate the duties imposed by the Code of Ethics. The Code of Ethics is a detailed document that spells out the professional responsibilities of every REALTOR®.
