The annual Legislative Day happening is a gathering of hundreds of REALTORS® from around the state. This is your chance to advocate for the CRE industry and to talk directly with lawmakers who help decide owners' property rights, land-use policies, economic development, taxation, and more.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, Washington REALTORS® will be hosting a virtual legislative event. (WR is also waiving the fees to attend this year!). Normally, 400-600 REALTORS® attend the Legislative Day event, and with the event being virtual, it's even more accessible than ever!
Program Schedule (Virtual):
11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. – Review key items
1:00 to 4:00 p.m. – Meetings with legislators
Primary CRE Topics
Capital Gains Proposals
B&O Increases
Payroll/Head Taxes
Rent Controls, Evictions
At this online event, you will:
Actively participate in lobbying and speaking with state legislators and elected officials on behalf of CRE brokers
